BIO
My Story
Hello and welcome to Listening with Maddie!
I am so happy you are here! My name is Maddie. I am a Teacher of the Deaf and am Hard of Hearing. I am incredibly passionate about educating and advocating for other Deaf and Hard of Hearing Individuals! I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors in Special Education in the field of Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I have since earned my LBS1 certification and Masters in Special Education. The mission of Listening with Maddie is to provide additional Deaf Education services to those in need, to educate parents about the process and purpose of an Individualized Education Plan(IEP), and teach others the beauty of the Deaf Culture through Sign Language Classes. Again, welcome and I cannot wait to start this journey with you!
